Grade 1-A Prances Stark, a senior at LCHS, has teen observing in our room during the after­ noons several times each week. She assists Mrs. 'Eoslaugh in the regular work. Frances belongs to the Future Teachers Club and this work is followed by conferences conducted by Mrs. Lee. Mrs. Duane Holder and Mrs. John Holder were present on Hall- oween with a party for the children. Many mo­ thers furnished cook­ ies or money to pay for treats. The chilbe ren enjoyed the party and express thanks to all who helped. Mrs. Inez Herrig, county librarian,. ,andf: Mrs. Leona Lenarz, town librarian, were '-ere with new books last Thursday in ob­ servance of Book Week. They also stowed .the movie in color of \The Steadfast Tin Sold­ ier; V Steven Crcssley is back in school after being absent for a week with flu. Grade 1-E Mrs. William's room wishes to thank their room mothers, Fr»; Fatterson and Mrs, Moeller for the lovely Halloween Party on Friday October 31* We played games had Cup Cakes, juice and candy. Thank you Room Mothers. Mrs. &alois, Herby and Bonnie v a y and Mrs. Diehards and Russell were also pre­ sent at out party. We celebrated Deanna Moellers birthday last week. She brought cup cakes to have with our milk. Each of us col­ ored her a birthday cake and we all sang \Hapry Birthday\ to her. Gilbert Freston spent the weekend in Coeur d-Alene visiting with his cousins.'- Miss Carol PTall has teen observing in Mrs. Swing’s room on Tues­ days and Thursdays. Miss Hall plans to be a teacher. Marjrcean Wenz has enrolled in Grade 2-A. Mary ^ean came ''from Whitefish and is n:w living with her par­ ents, Mr. end Mrs. Eill Wenz on the old Rich place. Grade 3-A We went to thank our room mothers, ^rs. Mc­ Rae and Mrs. McAllist­ er, for the lovely Halloween party. Treats of popcorn, cookies, and candy were furnished by them. Others who brought treats were Denny Radish, Suckers, Lolly McFadyean, cook­ ies, Clark Miller, suckers, and Kay Ing­ ram, cookies. Thank you, everyone l Alan Hudson brought delicious chocolate chip cookies for a Friday afternoon treat. Everyone tut five had 100’s in spelling on iNlov. 5. We are glad to have Tim Lean b ' a c k after a weeks absence. Earl Bor tine entered our room. Earl came from Trego. They are living’ on the Walker Place and ride Tom Burch's bus to school.
